Senior Staff Accountant - St. Petersburg, FL office

Concannon, Miller & Co., P.C., a premier CPA and business consulting firm has an immediate opening in our St. Petersburg, Florida location for a Senior Staff Accountant in our Franchise niche. You will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and supporting information in accordance with corporate requirements; preparing sales and use tax returns; individual, corporate, and partnership returns for franchisees. You will consult and work closely with clients on a variety of projects.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate (has passed at least 2 parts)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience including closely-held businesses, franchisees or quick service restaurants.
Track record of achieving results, high performance and client service excellence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to apply to clients’ business issues.
Proficiency in Quickbooks, CSA, ProSystems or other accounting packages. Ability to teach others how to get maximum value out of using technology.

Staff Accountant - St. Petersburg, FL office

Senior Tax Manager - Lehigh Valley, PA Office

Concannon, Miller & Co., P.C., a premier CPA and business consulting firm has an immediate opening in their Lehigh Valley, PA location for a Senior Tax Manager with experience working with closely-held businesses and high net-worth individuals. You will be responsible for building new and existing client relationships; providing tax planning, consulting and compliance expertise to clients; researching new IRS tax laws and regulations and implementation of effective tax strategies and solutions; new business development; conducting primary review of complicated or complex income tax returns including Corporation, S-Corp, partnership and individuals; coaches and develops staff and tax team.

Qualifications

BA/BS minimum; CPA certification/license required; advance degree preferred - MS in Taxation, JD, LLM in Taxation.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in a tax practice serving closely-held businesses and high net-worth individuals.
International tax experience preferred.
Willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients.
