Concannon Wealth Management is seeking an intern candidate for the summer of 2010. This will be a paid position with potential long-term opportunity. Specific duties will include:

  • Maintaining the Portfolio Management database and assisting the Research Coordinator in implementing portfolio allocations
  • Supporting Head of Financial Planning by organizing client data and building out personalized websites for high net worth individuals
  • Reviewing status of life insurance policies for existing clients to help determine if coverage is active and sufficient
  • Various other tasks to be assigned as needed by the Branch Manager

CWM Group, a financial planning and asset management firm, is seeking a Financial Planner/ Paraplanner to participate in all phases of the financial planning process.

Principal Responsibilities and Activities include:

  • Interacting with office staff and clients
  • Use of software tools to track and prepare various financial planning reports
  • Assisting in the preparation of client presentations
  • Facilitate and follow-up on the implementation of financial planning recommendations
  • Maintain communication with current clients through on-going mailings, email and phone calls

Skills & Job Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic, strong interpersonal skills and high integrity are a must
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collect, analyze and communicate complex information
  • Securities & Insurance Licenses Preferred
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience required
