“Persistence is omnipotent.”
—Calvin Coolidge
Betsy Storey-Bono has been part of the Concannon, Miller & Co. organization since 2003. Her approach is based on “The Golden Rule,” whether friends, family, colleagues or clients.
Never Forget the Classics
Outside of work, Betsy enjoys reading, writing, spending time with her family, gardening, and hiking. She says that she couldn’t live on a desert island without her family and a tall stack of books.
A Core of Steel
Betsy is described by her family as a great listener who is loyal and loving. She says that the most influential person in her life was her mother, who had “a gentle presence with a core of steel.”
We All Wish We’d Done It
Of her many vacations, Betsy says her favorite thus far involved backpacking though Europe for three months.
The Ultimate Sport
Betsy was a serious Ultimate player for many years, making it to the national championships three times.
Volunteer Work
Volunteer work is a big part of Betsy’s life. In addition to donating her time at a local soup kitchen, she serves on the Child Care Information Services Board of Directors and the United Way Steering Committee for Marketing.
