Bringing Out Their Best
Connie Hood’s approach to her work involves developing a workplace that brings out the best in people while generating the highest value for all of Concannon, Miller & Co.’s constituents.
The Importance of Citizenship & Caring
Two of the fundamentals of Connie's life inside the office and out are citizenship and caring. She defines her life by doing "good" for others and makes volunteering a big part of her life.“As a parent, my job has been to help my children develop character through volunteering. We have been involved in scouting, handicap riding, the SPCA, local soup kitchens and food banks, Meals on Wheels, Children and Youth organizations, and more.”
Excitement on the Seas and in the Mountains
As far as exciting vacation moments go, Connie says that her first shark fishing trip off the coast of Fripp Island will always stand out. She was surprised at the small size of the first shark she caught, "it really put up a fight." A summer trip to Mount Tremblant, Quebec where she and her family conquered the Acrobranche also holds fond memories.
Connie has been with Concannon, Miller & Co. since 2007.
