The Keys to Success “work hard, stay focused and exceed your clients expectations.”
Penn Stater’s in the sunshine
John and his wife Kay are both avid Penn State fans. With two daughters that graduated from the University of Florida, football weekends are always exciting. There is an ongoing family "discussion" over which school’s football team is better. John and the family attended a Penn State homecoming in Happy Valley last year.
John’s development in the firm was influenced by Frank Concannon and Jim Fronheiser, both former partners. After opening the St. Petersburg office for the firm in 1981 with no employees and a very small roster of clients, John relied on many of the business development and practice skills employed by his mentors. John says, "There were many days shortly after opening the office that I would ask myself what would Frank or Jim do in this situation?"
John enjoys spending time with his adult children and his four grandchildren who all live nearby. In addition, John loves travel, reading and trying to stay physically fit.
John is a supporter of Catholic education and has been an active member of the school boards at Our Lady of Lourdes School and Clearwater Central Catholic High School.
